I was proposed to on Valentines Day, which happens to also be my birthday. It was the most amazing proposal ever. My fiance, Sean, came to my house early in the morning and filled the spare bedroom with balloons, my favorite candies, and two white teddy bears kissing. He came and got me up from bed lead me into the spare room and showed me all the presents then told me to go get ready for the day. He took me down to forest park and we went ice skating, to the zoo, and then finally Cheesecake Factory (our favorite restaurant) for lunch. We then headed back for my house and I ended up taking a nap while he did some finishing touches on things for later that night. When I woke up I changed into a Betsey Johnson dress he had bought for me on our one year anniversary and he put on his tuxedo that I bought for him on our one year anniversary. He took me to Tony's downtown St. Louis for dinner. I could tell he was starting to get nervous because when we got to the restaurant he realized he had forgotten his socks! We ordered a bottled of wine and our food and were just enjoying each others company. When our food came out to our table, he looked down and his watch and said "O no! We're on a time limit! You have 15 minutes to eat! Go!". Of course there was no chance of me finishing an 8 ounce steak in 15 minutes so I had it packed up for leftovers. When we walked outside of Tony's, Sean's little brother was standing outside with a huge sign that said "Your chauffeur Bubba is here to pick up Missy. There was a red carpet leading from the steps of Tony's to the car his little brother drove. The inside of the car was decorated with baby pink rose petals, two real roses, rope lights, and champagne. Sean got in the car we had initially drove down and lead the way to where we were going. I had to keep my eyes closed the whole car ride, so I had no idea where we were going. When we had reached our destination, his little brother got out of the car and Sean came and got me. He picked me up and took me down some stairs. He started to say how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I still didn't know what was going on at this point until he got down on one knee. At that moment I opened my eyes and started squealing with joy! I immediately jumped on his and he started laughing and said "No! Not yet! I still have to put the ring on you!". He had my ring in a baby pink rose he was keeping in his pocket. He put the ring on my finger then I started looking around I saw that his mom was there filming everything, his little brother was taking pictures, and my mom, dad, and his dad were holding up three huge signs that he made that light up in pink and said "Will You Marry Me?". He had proposed to me on Grand Basin in Forest Park. It was beautiful. To have both of our families there meant so much to me. I wouldn't change a thing about how it all happened!
