For you to understand my story you have to read it form the begining...I met Jay in November of 2007 while working at Taco Bell. I was working for about 3 weeks before we had a shift together and I dont think I'll ever forget that day. I remember opening the door to the back and steping threw while keeping my head down because I was the new girl and extremly shy. While I took off my jacket I lifted my head and he was standing there and I could feel my cheeks getting hot and my mouth open. So being myself instead of saying hello and hey something normal I turned to manager and told her I was going to suvel the drive threw becuse the plow hadent come yet and our costomers couldent get threw... all so I would have to studder about my day to this gourgous guy I had just met. As I was shoveling the snow Jay came out back and like any 21 year old would do to a girl he thought was cute he threw snow balls at me.
We became friends and I thought there was no way he as ever going to be romantically interested in me untill new years eve my best friend Milagro and I were going to be going to a party after my sift was over and Jay was having people over at his house so we were not supposed to be together but fate has a way of makeing things happen. Milagro called me aroung 10:30 and told me that the plans had changed and that we were going to go to another friends house who I was not so fond of so I told her it was ok and that I would find something else to do. Mike a co-worker of mine had been texting Jay about his party and was asking me about my plans for that evening and now really did not have anything so I told him and he asked me if I would like to come with him to Jays and back then I kinda let things slip out and because I had a grade school crush on him I exclamed REALLY HES SOOOOOOO GORGOUS.. an Mike being Mike texted him that. Jay and I kissed our first kiss after the count down. In march Jay and I got the scarest news of our lives we were going to be parents I was 18 and he was 21 and we worked at taco bell how were we ever going to be able to care for this baby, where would we live my mom and dads home was to small and his parens told us we coudl not stay with them. To our luck the TOYOTA called and offered Jay a job 6 months before our baby was born. We moved to Woodstock into a town house away form our family and friends. On November 15 2008 Kaydence Lee Dixon was born she was perfict she was 9 pounds 12.9 ounces and compleatley 100% daddys little girl the moment she heard Jays voice she was calm. She is now almost 2 and just as good looking as daddy and as crazy as mommy. So I bet you wondering how Jay asked me the question well here it goes.... 1 month ago Jays alergys had turned into this horribal infection I had not seen him this sick in all the time I had known him so I sent him to get some pills from the walking and when we got he rested the next moring he had to work at 6am so I was sleeping when he got up. Jay was not feeling well so she had some coolade not wantng to have solded being afraid he would get sick and i guess it did not really matter if it was oldeds or not because Jay got sick anywase on his way to the bath room he had passed out and 20 minutes later had working up coverd in vomit.. loveley is not it he came and got me and while Kaydence was sleeping I cleaned him and the bathroom up. We went to the hospital and found out that he was fine and just did not get any air when he was in mid spit up and fainted. We go home and I gave Jay 2 T-3s for his headache and while I was doing laundry, cleaning the house and making crafts with our daughter he was on the couch mostly out of his mind because he said the strangest thing..." Rachelle...( in a winy voice) I want to marry you.. oh god forget I said that I don't even have a ring for you yet... but I really want to marry you... do you want to marry me?" and I said yes and then when he was no longer under the influance I asked him if he remembers what he had said to me he said" yes I asked you to marry and you said yes so we were engaged but you dont have a ring so I feel bad" I don't have a ring yet but I have the greatest guy you could ask for and the best father a daughter could want. I know its not romatic and its a bit funny but its our lives that make us love each other the way we do to the way he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. But to me it was pretty perfect. oh and did I mention the last wedding we went to 1 year before he asked I caught the flowers and he caught the garder belt and as far as I know were the next to get hiched pritty crazy huh. |
