>>HOST: Well the winter bride is so beautiful, but maybe you're already planning for your spring or summer wedding. We've got the store manager Best For Bride, Kalina Mortlock here. Hello!
>>KALINA: Hi. Thank you for having us.
>>HOST: Are winter weddings in full gear right now?
>>KALINA: Absolutely, yes. Brides tend to actually have winter weddings more than usual. So it's in fashion.
>>HOST: Oh. There you go. But of course now they're already planning for their spring and summer wedding too. You've brought some amazing brides. Let's have a look at our first bride today. Come on out. Tell me what the trends are and what we're seeing here today.
>>KALINA: Well what we're seeing now is a mermaid-style, which is very trendy.
>>HOST: [Gasping] A mermaid-style!
>>KALINA: A mermaid-style. It's with lace and also tulle, so it's a little bit of both.
>>HOST: Take one step back would you please. Is that possible? Okay. And now I think they want you to do a little turn if you can, nice and slow. [Gasping]
>>KALINA: Perfect.
>>HOST: Oh my goodness. Absolutely gorgeous. Yes or no, was that difficult to walk in?
>>BRIDE 1: No.
>>HOST: No? She says no. Okay. Cool. Tell me about this dress.
>>KALINA: Well it has beading, obviously. It's lace, and this is the tulle ruffle. And um, yeah.
>>HOST: Is all of this hand applied?
>>KALINA: I believe so, yes.
>>HOST: Oh my goodness. And does it have ribbing in there to hold everything up, or is there--?
>>KALINA: It has a little corset inside there, yeah.
>>HOST: A little corset. That is amazing! What's this-- it's tulle.
>>KALINA: Yeah.
>>HOST: That's the same stuff that makes the fluffy tutus?
>>KALINA: Yeah.
>>HOST: And yet it looks so delicate and light.
>>KALINA: And then you can bustle it up.
>>HOST: Oh, let's see that now.
>>KALINA: For dancing.
>>HOST: Ah-ha. It actually tucks right up there.
>>KALINA: We have in-house seamstresses that could definitely do that for you.
>>HOST: Wow. So she could just tie it up or tuck it up with a little button or something?
>>KALINA: Yeah, it's a button.
>>HOST: Now you don't have to worry about stepping all over it. That is spectacular. And tell me about the veil.
>>KALINA: It's a one-tier veil. And it's got little rhinestones all around the match the dress.
>>HOST: Beautiful. Alright. Thank you so much
>>KALINA: Thank you.
>>HOST: Can anybody's shape wear that dress?
>>KALINA: Yes, however brides that have more curves would be more ideal for that style.
>>HOST: More of an hourglass figure?
>>KALINA: Correct.
>>HOST: Because the whole shape of it really accentuates that. Okay. Bride number two. Oh, this is like the Great Gatsby isn't it?
>>KALINA: Vintage.
>>HOST: Yes it is. [Gasping] Oh my.
>>KALINA: What's in right now is the caramel colors.
>>HOST: I love that caramel color. Now what would you do with the rest of your decorating? You'd want to
>>KALINA: Stick to more of the gold tones.
>>HOST: That is spectacular. Now this she could probably get it and out of on her own as opposed to eh mermaid-style, right?
>>KALINA: I agree.
>>HOST: It's a little easier, little lighter. Maybe-- what kind of ceremony would this work for?
>>KALINA: A simple one but classy, very rustic.
>>HOST: And look, you can show off your tattoos. That's great. Does this one have any internal support?
>>KALINA: This one does not, no.
>>HOST: Right. So you'd just have to have the right bra.
>>KALINA: Yeah.
>>HOST: And that's good. They make good bras that come way down in the back now, right?
>>KALINA: Yes, however the seamstress can just sew in cups for you so that you don't need a bra. With that low back, it's necessary to have cups sewn in.
>>HOST: Does this one pull up if she wants to dance?
>>KALINA: Yes, absolutely.
>>HOST: So it would be something like that?
>>KALINA: Like that.
>>HOST: Oh, it looks so pretty like that.
>>KALINA: Gorgeous.
>>HOST: Is it a vintage dress or is it just made to look vintage?
>>KALINA: It's made to look vintage.
>>HOST: It's absolutely spectacular. Thank you so much. And you can pick your hair accessories, your jewelry to keep it with that vintage theme.
>>KALINA: Absolutely.
>>HOST: Alright, bride number three. How are we doing for time?
>>KALINA: Pinks are also in, and this is a ball gown by Alfred Angelo.
>>HOST: Very subtle pink.
>>KALINA: Exactly. Very subtle and light, it's not overwhelming.
>>HOST: In fact, I don't know if you can see this, but the underneath is white, it's just the top layer that's pink. Is that right?
>>KALINA: Yep.
>>HOST: Oh, that's nice. Tell me about this dress. Who was the designer again, you said?
>>KALINA: Alfred Angelo.
>>HOST: Alfred Angelo.
>>KALINA: And that's the Spring 2015 collection.
>>HOST: Hey, not available until the spring. [Gasping] Tell me about the way it drapes here in the front, is that called anything? Like is it called ruching or anything?
>>KALINA: It's called ruching.
>>HOST: That's all that is?
>>KALINA: Yeah.
>>HOST: This one does look like it has some support in there, right?
>>KALINA: Absolutely.
>>HOST: What's holding it out at the bottom? What's that structure?
>>KALINA: It's the crinoline that's underneath, and you can poof it out, you can make it smaller. It all depends on what you're looking for. Beautiful.
>>HOST: Thank you so much. How many have we seen now? Was that three or four?
>>KALINA: That was third. And last one!
>>HOST: Let's see number four. Okay. This looks vintage as well, am I right?
>>KALINA: Yes. Absolutely. This dress is by Jasmine, 2015 collection. And most are open backed with a little bit of a shoulder. And yeah, it's gold undertones also.
>>HOST: I like the straps. You could wear a bra if you need to. You don't have to. But if you need one, the straps are there to support you and cover you up. And this gives her such a beautiful shape. Again, it looks vintage, but it's brand new.
>>KALINA: Of course. Yep.
>>HOST: How soon can we be ordering dresses that are meant for the 2015 line?
>>KALINA: Dresses will be in stores within the next month or two.
>>HOST: Okay. How do we-- if we've seen something we like here today or we're having a look around and we see something we like-- how do we go about buying something from Best for Bride?
>>KALINA: You make an appointment and one of my bridal consultants will definitely take care of the bride. And it takes about four to five months for the dress to come in.
>>HOST: Well that's good to know. So you've got to be planning ahead.
>>KALINA: Absolutely. Yes.
>>HOST: Now don't go too far, because I think I'd like to have everybody come back. Can we see all of you now again please? Yes. So that way we can see the subtle differences in the color too.
>>KALINA: Exactly.
>>HOST: So four to five months out, that's just for the dress to arrive.
>>KALINA: Yes. Then about a month for alterations.
>>HOST: Okay. So at the very least, you want five to six months lead time before the wedding date.
>>KALINA: Absolutely. Yes.
>>HOST: Alright. And accessories. How quickly can those come together?
>>KALINA: Accessories can be rented, actually, for $100, so that's definitely a deal.
>>HOST: You mean $100 will cover you whatever you need?
>>KALINA: Yes, absolutely.
>>HOST: That's fantastic.
>>KALINA: Yes.
>>HOST: And then you just give that stuff back.
>>KALINA: And we also rent dresses.
>>HOST: That's good to know. What's involved there with alteration and getting fitted?
>>KALINA: The alterations are on us, so we do alterations, however the dress needs to fit the silhouette and a visible hem is only what we can do to rent it.
>>HOST: Each of these ladies has a different type of veil. Will your consultants help us choose what will go best with the dress?
>>KALINA: Absolutely. Yes. Without a doubt. Just like 'Yes to the Dress,' we jack everyone up.
>>HOST: Look how sparkly everyone is. And look, you can see the differences in the color because it's very subtle. When they're standing by themselves it's harder to see, but you can see that caramel there, you can see the pink-- it's a bit of a wash of pink, it's it?
>>KALINA: Yes, it's beautiful.
>>HOST: And then there's that traditional white. Would you say that's an off-white?
>>KALINA: That is an ivory color, yes.
>>HOST: Ivory, okay.
>>KALINA: That dress is by Mora Lee.
>>HOST: Oh my goodness. This is enough to give any bride hot flashes because it is so beautiful and so different. You really can find something for everybody, can't you?
>>KALINA: Absolutely.
>>HOST: Do you guys feel special in your dresses?
>>BRIDES: Yes.
>>HOST: So pretty.
>>KALINA: Let's get married!
>>HOST: Yes. Alright. We can start by looking online, right?
>>KALINA: Absolutely, at www.bestforbride.com.
>>HOST: See what you like. And then your store is located--?
>>KALINA: At Bathers and Shepherd-- that's the Toronto location. And we have one in Hamilton, Barry and Antobigo. So there's four of us.
>>HOST: Go in, try the dresses on. Get your order in. Remember, you need at least five months in advance before your wedding to make it all happen. Thank you so much. BestForBride.com is where you start.

Hi Best for Bride,
I would just like to thank all the staff at Best For Bride in Etobikoke for helping my daughter and I find what we were looking for. I can't remember the ladies name that was helping us at the time but she was a tall woman and I believe her name began with a D. My daughter bought her wedding dress there and I bought my dress there as well. We were impressed with the wide selection of dresses that you had to chose from. I looked at so many dresses in other places as the mother of the bride and could not find anything that was suitable. My daughter and I exhausted every wedding shop in London Ontario and could not find the perfect dress. We went to a few places in Mississauga and Toronto and could not find the perfect dress until we visited Best For Bride and that is where she and I found the right dresses for us. Attached is a couple of photos of her day and the dresses we bought from you.
Thanks again,
Wayne

Dear 'Best for Bride' and Olga,
Thank you so much for your help with my bridesmaids dresses. The assistance was brilliant (hence why I came to you to buy the dresses and did not buy them from Scotland where we live!) I was always kept up to date on the progress of the dresses as well as being given the opportunity to twice send the dresses back and order other sizes. My bridesmaids looked wonderful and everyone commented how lovely their dresses were.
I would recommend using your company to all of my friends in the future. Best of luck for the future and please find pictures attached.
Joanne
